It has been long for me to envy the performance of the Super-Multi-Coating lens.
Although there's no f/2.8 anymore on this new lens, but with flashlight and high ISO sensitivity, I can still take photos easily.
There's also a PENTAX-M 50mm f/1.7 lying in my moisture-proof box for large aperture scene.
Hope PENTAX corp. can live longer....
It is said that the Zeiss is going to make a Planar T* 1.4/50 ZS, M42 mount
